A radio station is a form of communication...At least they transmit their message. This station is the oldest in Washington state. It dates back to the 1920's or so. KGY has carried local high school football and basketball games for ever. It has been the center of this community for many years until recently. There are now many radio stations in our little town so not as many people listen to it.
It sits over the most southern point of Puget Sound. There has been a political battle going on where the Port would like to move it and put in a restaurant.
