May 12: Personal nightmare

This is a photograph of my guillotine. I use it frequently for trimming prints. Faster and more accurate than a ruler and craft knife, or heaven forbid, a pair of scissors. But every time I see it sitting there in the corner of my office, I'm filled with terror at the thought of accidentally, well, look at the pic. You know what I mean...

But don't worry, I'm only trimming a photograph here!

Oh David - I LOVE this. Would it be possible for me to print it out? It's just I have a very large guillotine and it would be such a good visual reminder for the people who use it...

brilliant idea. :-)

Amen! I use a heavy duty cutter at work too. I did know one teachers aide years ago, who got a fingertip caught. Okay, can't look at pic anymore-shuddering! Yikes!

Wonderfully creative shot! Well done! My paper cutter has a blade that slides within a guide... much better for accident prone me!

It would have been more convincing with some ketchup....

cool image.. horrifying thought. I'm glad I'm not the only one who "imagines" the unimaginable just be seeing an object. I also have the same reaction EVERY time I put food products in my blender and every time I insert the beaters on my mixer. Shivvvvver
Guest 12-May-2004 16:55
