Wow, this is my 500th PotD! I could have bought a cake or some bubbly, but instead, I'm celebrating by looking dead miserable in typical Police mug shot style. In fact, it's just an excuse to hold a PotD 500 card! I took a look at a few real mug shots on the net and found that messed up hair, a miserable expression and, for some reason, a checked shirt feature regularly. Too easy?

So mug shot aside, what have I learned from 500 days of PotD? Two things:

i. Good ideas are more important than good equipment, but good equipment can make the ideas easier to realise.
ii. If you want a lot of hits on you picture take some fake bum shots using eggs...
