Looking for anyone who served with the 175th Vet. Detachment out of either Da Nang or Quang Tri 69 and 70. I was a Vet tech who later got OJT and became a handler. My Dogs name was Dutchess. We were a bastard unit who served with units in I corps mainly the 5th Mech. and 1st Marine Units. Ed Gerasimowicz Colonel Davis was our C.O.

I was at Phouc Vinh 1970 , when a former scout dog was left in my care. He had been taken out of the field (he became too aggressive) and was to be put down ,but was saved by a sgt. who had been transferred into our unit . A Co. 15th S&S Bn. 1st Cav. 4th forward . I don't recall the Sgt,'s name ,but will never forget Tasha (58X1) I would like to know something about who he worked with etc. When I left ,Tasha was entrusted to Robinson ,who I felt would be the best to take care of him.

Can anyone remember the name of a dog handler who worked with ALPHA CO 2/501 101ST AIRBORNE Who was KIA Outside of FIRE BASE BASTOGNE In A Bunker Complex. Sometime in MARCH 1971 We tripped a wire and he died instantly I think his dog survived . He may been the body i carried thru the jungle to the medivac I also have a picture of him and his dog , and i also have a picture of a guy that i think was him ,but im not sure THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SERVICE

For the person who wanted info on the dog Cracker 60X1. I was her last handler. She was KIA on the 19th of August 1968 when we tripped a booby trap south of Saigon out in the rice paddies. My name is Marvin W (Bill) Berg. I served with Pat Loyd from Feb 67 to Feb 68. We were the original group trained at Ft. Benning. I have at least one photo of your dad that I would be glad to share with you. I agree with Sam Warner that your father is a great man. Your dad and Cracker made a great team. Does anyone have any info about my uncle Sgt Victor Reyes Hernandez 57th IPSD KIA 1968 Vietnam. He is from Fullerton Ca, Im a little confused I was told he was in an Aviation unit when he was killed. My grandmother never wanted speak about his death.Any photos or info would be GREATLY appreciated. I only have one photo of him in country holding a baby monkey with a helicopter in the background. I have a(2) pictures of my friend, Theodore A. Sweatt. He worked the 25thIPSD out of Bien Hoa. He was killed on November 27th 1968. His dog's name was Britta. She died that day also. I was with Delta 1st of the 8th. I see that you do not have a picture him or Britta. I would like to send my pictures to you to post I think about him often. He was my friend

I am looking for a old friend that was a dog handler. The name of my old friend is David Helton. David was a dog handler in Viet Nam in 1970. I was with the 1st. Air Calvary 1 & 8th. If anyone knows David or any information about David, please let me know. I would love to get in touch with him.
