Well Mr. O'shea, or should I call you Mr. Ackerman, this doesn't get more ackermanish than that, and since he is one of my favourite photographers I find that there is no need for me write much more.
The resemblance to his shot is surreal, check out the second from the left in the top raw.

This has an ominous feeling about it ... !
The mystery man looks threatening ... like he is on a mission and it isn't good!

I really like this one. Makes me want to try something like this, though I think I'd pick someone more my own size, just in case... (like, a granny sans umbrella) This turned out very well. The tilt and blur add wonderfully to the overall effect. (just leaving the pub, were we?)

The truth is, I was ambling mindlessy behind him, noticed him, dropped the camera to my waist (my patented 'hipshot' LOL) and squeezed off a shot while he and I were walking. I knew the shot would come out blurred. When I got it home, I greyscaled it and whacked the contrast right up to blacken his silhouette and add a starkness to it; as it came out of the camera it was no big deal. Thanks, Bruce.

Great shot, brimming with the possibility of menace. You got him from the back, so did he ever turn around?

It is a great shot. It has action and presense.

The last time someone walked toward me with that hulking look he handed me a traffic ticket.

jude mc writes: "...the determined, never-faulting mission he's on."
That confirms my idea, "Stalker" the movie by Andreij Tarkovskij ;-)

"Bearing Down" is a perfect caption.. although .. is it him bearing down - walking with intent .. or is it you bearing down on him to snap the shot?
Love the shaky movement of the image, adds to the determined, never-faulting mission he's on.
