- 28th March 2005 - Gnarled

A gret word that isn't it.... Gnarled..... mmmmmm
Trunk of an old tree down Picton Lane. Thought you decay/detail types might like it :)
If anyone wants an original file to get up-close-and-dirty just send me your email address!

Walked Helen to Cheshire Oaks so she could meet Denise and go shopping - school prom
approaching so dresses are the order of the day... makes a change from trackies! Have to admit
to sore feet on my return. All road work both ways.

They're working on the overhead lines, and I couldn't resist this snap - titled 'oops'...
maybe they should have got a longer ladder, followed by another 'wires' shot - think
I'm getting a thing about overhead cables......

Very nice! Hauled a lup like this off the beach on Sunday, no doubt a PAD in the waiting!

I can sort of see a face in this, or is it just me?

Wish I'd been out for a walk in the country today, even though it's a bit dreary. Been looking for wallpaper! Good detail in this old tree.

I must be the decay/ detail type because this is great.
Fabulous shot.
Would love to see even closer detail (yes, thinking about it I certainly am the decay/detail type).

I just love old tree trunks. Full of character and they make great photos.

This would definitely meet the definition of "gnarled"!
