- 27th March 2005 - Power

Not original as I've seen it elsewhere on pbase, but it is exactly as it came out of the camera!.... so couldn't resist this. As part of the keep fit effort I'm now walking as much as possible. Today Helen came with me, and we followed some of the (often rather muddy) paths around the parish. 7 and a third miles apparently according to Helen afterwards.
The first would have been the PaD if the pylon shot hadn't been so spot on!...

Have started a 'Walks around the Parish' gallery. These are a few of the many horses, ponies and cows we had to stop and talk to!

great composition

The pilon works really well, did you ever see the 'live' artwork with all the lights planted in a field that took power from the pilon?? I've always wanted to try and repeat that and photo it.

I vote for the inclusion of this image in your top ten – not that I dislike ANY of the rest.

Electrifying - (apologies for that) but seriously a truly great shot. BTW - thanks for all your comments and ZILCH to the 'Z' idea. See you again soon - Chris

If your scalp is a darker tan than your face there's a chance you've been microwaved, Ian. Your photo is brilliant though.

Perfect composition. Nice shot.
Guest 27-Mar-2005 20:27
Very nicely done. If it all had to be completely original there'd be a lot of us in trouble.
