After more than a year of restoration, a $4.4 million federal project was just completed in December 2011.
The four giant clock faces were rebuilt on this historic landmark.
With the decorative scrim lowered, the weather vane is more visible on its 30-foot-long stainless steel spindle which doubles as a lightning rod.
