I know there are folks who don't believe in God or His Son but I do. The only question I ask is "What if you are wrong"? Are you willing to take that chance? If I'm wrong, then I will just turn to dust and be done but the joy of having the relationship I have with God is what puts that smile on my face and the compassion in my heart. It is what makes me live each day to the fullest and how can that be bad? Without Him, I would not be happy, even in my roughest times. Just a thought....do you want to take the chance to keep believing there is no God?
I don't want to get on my soapbox and preach to anyone and am not judging those people as that is not my place. I am here to love and to be there as I believe Christ was. I'm not perfect and never will be but I know I'm forgiven. He got me through cancer and gets me through each day.
I just don't understand those who believe in the big bang theory...you can't get nothing from nothing, it is not logical. Something had to make it happen and I believe it is a higher power. One I cannot touch or see but know is alive and well as miracles happen to me that are unexplainable. Just a thought to ponder. If you die tomorrow and I'm right, where will you spend eternity? By the way, the gift of salvation is free. You don't have to do anything but accept Him into your heart and He takes care of the rest.
Easter is a time for reflection and to remember the One who died for us to save us from eternal damnation. I don't want to take that chance and believe that Jesus died for me and He is my salvation. If I'm wrong, then nothing lost, but if I'm right then I have everything to gain.
Hope everyone has a blessed Easter, what I actually like to call Resurrection Sunday.
Beautiful words and image. Have a blessed Resurrection Sunday Cindi!

I too believe. With all my heart....not blind faith from a blind poet, but intelligent belief in the things my eyes see that science and rationality cannot explain. I once was blind, now I see........that was my experience, and I don't see everything but in the sunset, the love of a father for his children, or a mothers, in creation, the light on the world, in the love of Susan.....I see there is a saviour. He don't tickle the arrogance of the intellectuals, or the proud and the self made, tho many intellectuals follow him. Christ is risen......3 days in the tomb. AND he lives in me. Look for Him.
A lovely and creative expression of your beliefs, Cindi. Hold onto them, because our beliefs define who we really are. And really, I think that everyone can believe in love, hope, and peace, even if we disagree on their origins. :)
A heartfelt creation Cindi.
But those of us who believe in the Big Bang also believe in love, hope, compassion and
all the other wonderful qualities of humanity.
Beautifully said....and having spent time with you it is so obvious......the love, joy and compassion you receive from your relationship with God shines through.
Wish you happy Easter and your Family too. Great to read where you stand for, what you believe in. That's the spirit you maintain and will help you guide. I can only respect it fully and I do so.
