Can't teach an old dog new tricks?

Oh... yes you can!

It was through my husband's hobby of metal detecting/treasure hunting, that he was offered a job here in Texas.
After working in the industry, he decided to try writing and out of this endeavor, he has written several books on metal detecting and has written many magazine articles for
Western Eastern Treasure Magazine.

Recently, he took a course in designing a website and tried to put his beginning knowledge to work.
Through much trial and error, he started a blog and has had the good fortune to reconnect with many acquaintances from the past.

Who would have thought that a simple hobby could change the direction of your life to such a degree?
But the true treasures have been the friends we have made through the years.

I invite you to peruse his site and just maybe you too will be in search of treasure!

Good for your husband! I checked out his website when I first saw this image a few days ago. I had no idea of the things that could be found with a metal detector.

Great portrait. Fascinating fellow your husband Dick is. A man of many talents. I like the photo of him with his guitar. Thanks for the offer for treasure searching, but I found mine when I met my wife. :)
