Gone in a blink

I was trying to take a shot of this dragonfly in flight after I shot this.
He was flitting merrily about then a small bird swooped in and out and
there was no more dragonfly. I could not believe the speed of the bird.
Faster than me!

Aren't they beautiful! Funny story about the bird, it would have been cool to get a picture of that part... could be "you can't believe what I ate" subject for the challenge! LOL
