Meadowhall

Sheffield

This is part of the Warner Brothers Village at Meadowhall Shopping Centre.
I haven't cropped the image at all and am amazed that I got it straight as I had two security guards bearing down on me at the time.
Security Guard: "Why are you taking photographs?"
Me: "Why, is it not allowed?"
Security Guard: "Why are you taking that photograph?"
Me: "Well...erm...it's like...erm...I'm doing this project where I have to take a photo a day..."
Security Guard: "Mmm?"
Me: "...and...erm...I sort of like the way the clouds are reflecting in the glass."
Security Guard: "Okay, no problem."
Me: "Thanks...Bye."
Obviously I didn't pose a threat and I knew I'd got the photo I wanted!

Nice story, great picture. The colours perfectly contrast each other and the curve really complements the straight lines. I'm voting for this!

That is a great reflection, and a sad one on the state of paranoia some people have.

Nice shot, well taken under pressure! You won't be the first to be thrown out of a shopping complex for taking photographs!

Awesome reflections. But, really, why were you taking a photograph of that building?
Gail Davison07-May-2005 18:50
Strange isn't it. Sometimes I take photos of things that I expect to be challenged on and nothing. Other times....!
Lee Rudd07-May-2005 18:33
