My daughter and I were having lunch
when I mentioned that I sometimes hold my camera
at arm's length to take a self-portrait.
"Oh yeah", she says. "I do that too, with my cell phone. See."
Kids! They make everything seem so easy.

Thursday's Transglobal Challenge: Shallow DOF

My camera has no manual controls,
so I almost did not participate in this challenge.
But it is informal. So, why not?

Really nicely done. I love that we can see the blurred face that is clearly grinning ear to ear in the background. This shot is loaded with energy. And of course, your post processing is an excellent touch.
