The Appalachian Ballet invited me back! This time to shoot them performing their annual favorite: The Nutcracker.

Richard, they are all so wonderful, I love the side shots too! A Big kudos to our lighting designer John and our costumers Angie and Brenda- without them we wouldn't have these shots either!...it is so special to see our nutcracker captured so beautifully... this allows me to show others how they need to see us live! Richard, I can't say thank-you enough!!! all are lovely.

I love how you were able to capture the dancers' expression, the bold colors, and of course the dancing. The difficult lighting while trying to capture the action makes this a very impressive collection. Thank you for sharing your images with us! Did you change WB on the fly or did you change it during post processing.

A well presented recollection fo a splendid performance. I did not attend it but just by looking at these shots, I might as well have been. The ambiance has been captured. The motion has been frozen, the lighting immortalized and another performance is in the bag. Thanks for sharing this beautiful performance.
