The most time consuming part of any of my images is in cutting a detailed mask. In this image I cut the mask for the back ground the hard part was all the little spaces behind the palm fronds.
Once the mask was cut I used an effect in the Alchemy module of Corel Photo Paint called Vortex Thin which gives the swirling lines in the back ground.
