Next using the same mask I used an effect in the Alchemy module of Corel Photo Paint called Spatula Crosshatch. Being as the effect pulls from the ajacent colors outside the mask I had to clean up around the trees with the clone tool.

In the final image which is in the exhibition I cut a mask for the tree trunks and added a more defined bark texture. http://www.pbase.com/oly_foto_review/image/77756311
