Tulips For Those Who Hate Flower Shots

Some people on PBase expressed opinion that flower shots are so common that they should not be taken seriously. Some other complaining that it's a mediocrity to post the flower shots. Without debating too much I want to dedicate this gallery to those who think flower shots are below their artistic vision.

Tulips are one of my favorite flowers, may be second one after the roses. They are very elegant and colorful. Unfortunately not living in Holland it's hard to get really big variety of them. I spend some time in different gardens in Toronto shooting them and result is this gallery. Let me know if you like or hate it and if you really strong in your opinion please vote so others will be able to hate it or like it as well :-)

It sucks, this is the worst thing I've ever seen. (Tee hee.) Nah, I'm just kidding. I was searching for an experiment about the treatment of flowers (hate kills them, all other things equal), but found this on google instead. It's pretty. I especially like #33. I'm not sure why though.

Flowers are not easy to shoot...the slightest breeze will make them bounce & bob...the colors will bleed. I think it's a lovely challenge to grow them and shoot them. This is a Beautiful Gallery! ~V~

Well I like them! I always find it's a challenge to take a "different" flower shot. It's funny though, I've found that people - on the whole - seem to like my flower shots...much more than I do. I remember showing an album of travel photos to a friend after my first year of travelling. Exotic locations abounded, but it was the flower shots she ooh-ed and ahh-ed over! People are strange...!
