When I came back home (I didn’t want to go back home, I adored London) my parents and grandparents were anxiously waiting for me at the airport, since they had not seen me for months.
When I came out from the passengers’ control area, my grandmother practically fainted looking at me. I was dressed like in this photo, which was taken at the time of my departure from London and besides that I wore also a kind of topee or pith hat I had bought in a flea market ( it’s partially visible in the photo, another girl was wearing it temporarily).
The gentleman by me was my British landlord. I think his name was Mike.
