Time to End Wooly Thinking

Another 'just shoot something' photo as my heart's not in something as
trivial as Pbase these days.
See my blog for why I, am so many Irish people, are feeling sad and angry:

PBase??? Trivial?? I see a mouth and soapy water encounter here! (Says he who will see his 2012 PAD as the Worst. PAD. Ever, though at least it gives me a low bar to beat in 2013.)

I haven't read your blog yet but I shall... in the meantime I still like this image with the contrasting textures and colours of the wood, the mould, the wire and the wool.

Really outstanding photo. The news story is a senseless tragedy that hopefully will lead to change.

I read about this story in our local paper and could not believe it. Your blog reinforces the senselessness of that poor woman's death. Very, very sad. Your lovely photo has a sadness about it too, a tribute of sorts to her. VV

A tragic, and so preventable loss. My heart and prayers go out to her family and everyone touched by this senselessness...z

This is a beautiful image Mairead! V
What a sad, sad story! May she rest in peace and hopefully her death might lead to changes in the laws there.

a tragic case of a seemingly preventable death...perhaps it will finally spur Irish politicians to modernize legislation...certainly religious beliefs should have no bearing on medical practices..your image illustrates your point well..

I read your blog too, and commented on Facebook. For "just shooting something" this is a particularly fine image!

The blog story is well written. It's unbelievable something like that could happen. This photo sums up the title wonderfully. Great close up of the wool caught on the fence post. V.

I have read the blog and fully support the sentiments you have expressed.

Very moving blog. I have to say that as an outsider hearing this story on the news it has been hard to understand how it came to be.
Not meaning to be flippant, but I hope that your photography will give you a good escape for a while.
