Deceiving the Eye

I've been watching the repairs to Ballymascanlon village very closely. I was delighted to see that the roof was replaced and the doors fixed up and painted. I worried about the windows though, as at first, it appeared that the remaining leaded glass and been broken and removed. Yesterday the windows were back but when I stopped to take this pic on my lunchbreak, I think that some of them may be just a trompe l'oeil. I'll have to make a closer investigation when I have more time.

Even if it is, it's a good sign; it would mean that the owners/caretakers care enough about the future of the cottages to take the trouble to do that. They could have just whacked a board over them if they weren't concerned.

You may indeed be right. A closer examination will certainly tell.
