The Seisuin Continues

The house has been full of music as my husband's brother came to visit and, as usual when he does,
a seisuin took place in the kitchen last night. While the lads played traditional music, I played with
my camera, experimenting with my 50mm lens and using the in-camera editing feature to convert
to sepia.
The music continued in the kitchen again today, this time fuelled by copious mugs of tea.

Another fantastic photo. I love traditional Irish music. Have lots of it on vinyl! V

Great candid, sepiatone is a great choice for this too. V

A good choice of what to keep and what to exclude in the image; enough of the guitar to convey the subject, but close in to give a more "intimate" feel without losing the essential details (including the motion blur of his hand). Sepia works well here to help amplify the mood.

These wonderful images really capture the feeling of community that shared music creates. So sensitively done!
