Raining cats and dogs

It's raining cats and dogs - most definitely the sort of evening
that you wouldn't put a dog out in, as they say. And while
Fudge doesn't seem to mind the rain, his owners most
certainly do.
As it was too wet to go outside I thought I'd try out my
much under-used flash and take a pic of the reason
why I'm neglecting Pbase of late.
Here Fudge is lying comfortably on one of the cushions from
the armchairs in the kitchen. Despite having his own bed
with a rug and cushion, he helps himself to one of these
super comfy cushions once we leave the room.

Beautiful light. I never would have guessed this was flash. Fudge certainly looks comfortable. You just want to reach out and touch that soft fur.

I thought the same as LynnH -- he's looking older already. Amazing how quickly they grow up.

Fudge looks older and less puppyish here. I just love the light and the warm colors... perfect for a rainy day. V

Fudge´s a smart boy. But they say you always can tell what the comfiest place in the house it, that´s where the cat lies!
I don´t use my flashgun very often either. Got a softbox for it, but I guess I´ll have to take it out of it´s case before it´s any help getting softer light in my flash shots ;o)
One of these days ...

This was a flash shot? Looks like the Flash exif bug affects Nikons as well as Canons; I thought it was specific to us. (It's showing "No".) Either way the lighting is very subtle in this shot; it gives that "warm inside, cold outside" ambiance.

Seems Fudge is growing and getting into boy age. He may be very sophisticated to cushions:) V

Too wet to go out, too cold to play ball, so we sat in the house and did nothing at all! Apart from pose , I like it, it simply catches the moment

Go on fudge Drag em out boy, rain it will only get as far as your skin then it stops, so nothing to worry about. Great shot of what is fast becoming one of my favourite PBase pooches
