After the rain the sunshine is all the sweeter. One of the things I love about photography is that I see
things that I would otherwise miss. Instead of watching television or chatting on facebook (or reading
or doing housework) I go out and about with my camera. I have always loved the countryside
where I grew up and getting into photography has renewed my love of nature, the spirituality
which comes from the appreciating the beauty of this world of ours. For half an hour this
evening I walked though damp grass (getting wet feet for the second time this week in order
to get the photo), watched the sunset and listened to the birds sing. It doesn't get much
better than that.
