Toffee the Guinea Pig

Yes, I know I started the week with an image of Toffee and here I am finishing it with another
one of our much loved pet.
But today I reckon I have an excuse. I've finally got a flash unit for my camera and Toffee
was the only one in the house willing to act as guinea pig for me. Well, he didn't really
have much say in the matter but I made sure to bounce it so not to blind the poor puss.
It's a lot more complicated than the Vivitar flash I had for the old OM10 so I guess it's
time to read the books.

The cutest guinea pig I've ever seen! I don't think you need the book at all.

PS, is the title because she has eaten the Guinea Pig? :-)

Looking at this shot I don't think your going to be reading long, a great shot for your first outing with your flash, its my least understood area of photography.

Lovely of Toffee to oblige...he is a photogenic fellow. If you're lucky Toffee, you may get a gallery of your own! V

All right...go ahead, said Toffee's eyes! Love that expression! The new flash seems to work great, Mairead. Nice catch-light in his eyes. A beautiful shot! V~

A very nice portrait of Toffee. I was curious about the box he is laying on in this pic... something warm and electrical perhaps???

Looks like your new flash worked perfectly here. This is a very lovely portrait of your beautiful Toffee. Just curious - which one did you get?

My cats would have disappeared as soon as they saw the flashgun... or the camera.
The EXIF says no flash used, did it really go off?

This is very nice lighting and Toffee looks very content staying right where he is :-)

Awww - nice bouncing - doesn't look like there's much chance of Toffee pouncing on the bounce :o)

Snap. I just got one but haven't played with it yet. My less than subtle hints before Christmas didn't work! Pity we don't have any pets to try it on. This is spot on.

Oh well done you, flash guns scare me......Toffee looks very relaxed about it all!
