Guardalo come ti aspetta, senza avere fretta, silenziosamente il vino,

Look at it, the way it’s waiting for you without any hurry, silently, the wine.
Look how it pours elegantly into the big glass
Perceive that inside the room, like in a dance, slowly flies a very soft scent of violet
When you take calmly the big glass and you lift it slowly
It’s nearly exactly the same movement of a kiss, isn’t it?
When with your open hand you keep the glass by your face and then you bend a little to approach your mouth
Listen how the wine tells itself, wave after wave
Thunderstorms in the night, wind, light, warm afternoons and hills
The fields are green over blue seas and the golden shadows of vineyards
which becomes at night this dark red which amazes us.
