Sunday Stream of Consciousness

-- New Gallery May 31, 2009 --
I hadn't been 'really' downtown where I live in a few years.... used to hang around there a lot when younger.
It looks a lot different 'close up and personal' than when just driving through. So got my little camera and a wide angle, drove uptown,
Walked about three miles and took pictures of that which grabbed my attention, for whatever reason.
Amazing how many larger buildings had sprouted up where residential areas were once,
and how many seemingly homeless people I saw...usually down an alley..probably so not to be hassled.
It's still the city of bicycles, and State Street still is a hub of activity, yet not so on a Sunday, a restaurant or bar every 10 feet.
So I just sort of went into a "stream of photo consciousness"
Knowing that writers use this technique to get ideas - these are my impressions.
