A stunning gallery with careful editing. Never tire of looking at this types of nature images, though I am hardly ever experiencing this these days.
Amazing how you managed to capture a magical moment and then create a whole series of images of it
Beautiful pictures! A lovely gallery!
It's interesting how many people have started tripping the shutter again, since digital. I know myself I'd lost a lot of interest...always having a couple dozen undeveloped rolls in a drawer (are they still there? LOL). It's just great having my own darkroom now in my computer, but it sure does take a lot of time ( not that I mind ). Today the high here is going to be 6 degrees F, and I've gotta work outside all afternoon, I don't care too much for the cold either. Hahaa. Thanks for your comments Tom, always appreciated.
I just keep coming by and looking at this gallery. Makes me ready for the Ice to get here, now. Seems like all the snow shots are pretty, but something about Ice that brings more to my imagination. And you've done great capturing it here.
Heck.. this is my first year with digital, so I still have a Lot of experimenting to do. It's great to come and see what Can be done, makes the anticipation come alive. And dang it... I hate the cold!
Thanks for shareing, tom
Thanks for the comments Hodero, it wasn't even quite so cold then as now, but now we have piles of snow...a big cold blanket.
Gallery full of Atmosphere. The white background also makes you feel cold.
The pic's are great... "H"
Thanks Gilles, fog is fun especially when it leaves it's coat of ice.
Delightful composition, near Highkey
Technical and eathetic job
Thanks Peter, at least the ice wasn't too thick and melted quickly.
Thanks for your nice comments Colorofthe wind. It's really not too cold here yet, just a couple of colder days, my Olympus LCD hasn't even fogged or iced up yet. When it gets really cold (Below 0 deg F) then I mostly use a manual film camera that doesn't require a battery. I might try my Canon though. One trick I learned in extreme cold is to put a plastic bag over my camera before coming inside, and the letting it warm to room temperature, it helps with the condensation that can form inside and outside it. Thanks again for stopping by.
Beautiful photos! But oh, it is so cold. Trembling....
Thank You very much Manfred...All this ice today reminds me of how long the winter will be...
Very fine pictures, excellent captured atmosphere!
