Free speech ( Or Lack Of as this was a totally silent protest. One thing did cross my mind as most gals ( and one guy ) here were mostly likely protesters during the Vietnam War well. No one under " 50 " was protesting. I think maybe protesting is a thinkg " Linked " to " That " generation. ( Same age group that started protesting the Vietnam war, moved on to protesting to keep abortion, no nukes, Save The Whales, Save The Spotted Owl, Save The Trees, Save The Whales. Looking into the future, I think this generation from say 50 to early 60's will be known as the " Great Protesters ".... ( No thing wrong or course with expressing your believes, it's just that the younger folks for the most part don't ) ... PS,, I am not judging here,,promise,, just an observation,,,

As a " Male ", I can't help but think " Some Or Maybe Most " these gals were 60's " Flower Girls " in their day cruising down highway 101 in an old split window Volkswagon Van on their way to Marin County for a a weeklong " Rock Fest " or to Haight/Ashbeery to hangout... Same Hell ,,different devil to fight.. Last time it was Nixon and the Vietnam War. This time Iraq,,, Next Time ?????

Daughter Used Mine Today,, Actually this one worked great!! All I needed was a vintage green "John Deer " Sled to go with it!!

With the sun straight up over head,, it was quite hot,, so made alittle " Retreat " for a noon lunch on the Green!!

Boater going down the Green River need to pack their on little " Porta Potty " and after a few days,, or weeks out , opening the " Hatch " on this is quite a treat,,,

Camped in nice nice " Tri-Cove " spot on the Green in the same place John Wesley Powell camped in 1869. NIce nice pictrograph was here then. Of course today,," Village Idiots" scar the place forever .. Then this art is gone,, there are no more natives to remake it.. ( But more Idiots to be sure )
