Does anyone know of hawks or hunting birds in the Parkville area? I swear there is one single hunter near Skylark apartments, larger than the other birds, brown with a hooked beak. And when it starts circling, the squirrels scatter to the wind!!

I believe I saw one of these today at Tuckahoe park. Not a sound. Swooped overhead at about 4:45 in the woods over the creek. Big, brown, and silent. This seemed like what we saw.

I always hear owls, but i can never see them. I wouldn't be able to tell you if it were this one or another species.... If you know of any that would be in the Ft. Washington/ Accokeek area, please post some pics of those so I may know exactly who's whooting outside....This is a very nice pic btw!
