For George Michael!

......a Scotch Bonnet.....

A couple of days ago, we had a Christmas special edition of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire on the TV. I know it's a hugely popular show but for some reason I usually want to avoid the popular ones. I love Millionaire though - it's such good fun.

Many, many years ago, I wanted to have George Michael's babies - knowing what we all now know I think you can all have a good laugh on me for that confession. I did then and do still LOVE Wham and his solo material - I may think of myself as a rock chick but I still love the pure pop. What a talented man he is - I still go weak when I hear Careless Whisper and I can't stop myself from clicking my fingers and tapping my feet to Faith. Ah I'm in heaven!

George was on Millionaire the other night and him and Ronan Keating (I'm afraid I never quite got it with Boyzone, I think maybe they were just a tad too far on the cheesy side) bluffed and blundered their way to £64,000 for two cancer charities as both their mothers had died of the illness. At one stage George even bluffed on a question and volunteered to make up the money if he'd got it wrong! A kind act.

At £64,000 - the next question worth £125,000 for their charities, they were asked which of these four answers was a chilli:

English Bowler
Welsh Hat
Scotch Bonnet
French Beret

They didn't know and we spent ten minutes or so yelling 'Scotch Bonnet' at the TV which of course they couldn't hear while Chris Tarrant played with them and they guessed French Beret. Ah, they slid back down to £32,000. Anyway, George, here's a Scotch Bonnet - most definitely a chilli!

You haven't enjoyed millionaire till you have watched it in the USA and seen everybody struggle to answer "How many pounds in a stone?"

Sorry, Lind... although I agree that George is really cute, Boyzone did it for me! I have to admit to owning their Greatest Hits album and dancing around the house to it when all my boys are out! Mind you, I also have the greatest hits of the Osmonds (DONNY, I LOVE YOU!), East 17, and Take That! Now, how sad is that for a soul girl?!
I too saw (some of) George and Ronan, but sadly missed the last couple of questions, so thanks for letting me know what happened!!
By the way, nice piccy... I almost forgot, I was too absorbed in the fantasy of cute men having read your diary entry!!!!!

Nice to know there was a good reason George wouldn't have wanted to date us! LOL

But this picture is amazing! Looks like some spilled paint on glass from the thumbnail! I love it!

I saw the show too but sad to say I did not know the answer, although I would not have been foolish enough to guess...
