Samedi le 8 août 2009 a eu lieu la troisième Traversée Internationale du Lac Mégantic, province de Québec, Canada sur une distance de 10 Km. Organisée par Kevin Laflamme et son équipe. Le départ a eu lieu à Piopolis et l'arrivée à Mégantic. 26 nageurs et nageuses ont pris le départ à 13h00, 14 hommes et 12 femmes. Le gagnant chez les hommes pour la deuxième année de suite été l'américain FRAN CRIPPEN devant l'allemand ALEXANDER STUDINSZKI et l'australien DAVID BLAUM. La gagnante chez les femmes a été l'espagnole ESTHER NUNEZ 1/10 de seconde devant la gagnante de 2008 l'australienne SHELLEY CLARK et BÉATRICE PINEAU du Canada.

Saturday august the 8th 2009 was the third International swimming across Lac Mégantic, province of Québec, Canada for a distance of 10 Km. Kevin Laflamme and his team organized this event. The event started at Piopolis and finished at Mégantic. 26 Swimmers took the start at 1 PM, 14 men and 12 women. The winner for men is FRAN CRIPPEN USA a second in a row a head of ALEXANDER STUDINSZKI Germany and DAVID BLAUM from Australia. The winner for women is ESTHER NUNEZ from Spain a head of the 2008 winner SHELLEY CLARK from Australia and BÉATRICE PINEAU from Canada.
