Blister beetle (Epicauta murina)

A back view of this handsome beetle, shown sideways in the next shot. It is perched on the flowers of cow vetch. My finger behind shows that this beetle is not tiny.

Again, handsome in that gray metal uniform, so distinctive on the purple vetch. Nice articulated limbs too.
