Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca)

Another introduced species, brought over by settlers several centuries ago from Europe, and used as a medicinal plant. It is now common along woodland edges in natural areas. The flowers from a distance don't look like much, but when viewed closely, they are beautiful and complex.
