An older style building shot using an older style (B&W/film) technique; it could just as easily be a shot from the 30's as from today. The shadows are particularly effective in a B&W composition like this; first because it's all about light and shadow but secondly because they give a feeling of implicit depth to the scene (the brain instinctively knows that there must be objects ahead of the foreground to cast them) without needing to explicitly show them.
