Songkran is the festival for the Thai new Year. The main celebration and national holiday is three days: April 13, 14 and 15. In 2005 the celebration in Bangkok began with a parade on the King's Road. These are photos of some of that parade. (In the background of many of the pictures is Democracy Monument.)
