His third day here. I hope I get an opportunity to see him in adult plumage. He can only get more beautiful. I'm afraid the seal between the two panes of glass in this window has broken and dirt has appear on the inside of the glass. It is degrading the images I shoot through it, but shooting through the glass is the best way for me to capture the birds, other than setting up the bird blind on my deck which is too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. I am too spoiled to be a nature photographer.
Update: October 5, 2010 - didn't see him today. Did a little research and these birds do not overwinter here, but travel south. I'll be looking for him next spring.
