On our first visit to "Pete's Unique" near Exit 44 off I26 in Hendersonville, North Carolina, we were delightfully surprised to see that this new restaurant was really delivering on its name. Never before have I been offered quiche and fresh fruit on a breakfast menu! (They also offer ribs for breakfast!) When we got to chatting with Pete and his mom we learned "Pete's Unique" had been a lifelong dream, finally fulfilled, but not without its nightmares along the way, like having to replace all the restaurant equipment, including the plumbing pipes. Decorated attractively with love and care, it's certainly worth a visit. A pleasant and delightful place with a fun and different menu. We're looking forward to our next adventure.
