Paul Bocuse

Trudy's garden

We spent 12 hours on Christmas Day celebrating Christmas at our 2nd daughter's place
and while there was still sunshine, I managed to take a few photos of her garden.

These 3 photos were hard me me to choose which one to put first, here
are the other two photos; which do you prefer?

I like the first and the third, they represent the glory of the Grand Cusine, which Bocuse is famous for! Nice shots! V.

As in, the chef Paul Bocuse? He has roses named after him? A man of many talents, I used to love watching him on SBS about a thousand years ago.
My preference is for #2, the middle one. What I like about it is that while the arrangement is obviously asymmetrical, I feel that the two buds act to as counter-weights to the open flower and make it a more balanced arrangement.
It also has the contrast of what is (the open flower) with what will be (the buds). True, there's a bud in the first image but it's heavily overshadowed whereas the ones in the middle shot have a greater presence.
