The Autumn Awakening 2014
After a long horribly hot summer the rose garden is starting to recover and the first
blooms are opening for an autumn flush - other flowers included.
Willunga Jubilee Rose Garden Maze 2014
Its a while since we had a picnic alongside the Willunga Rose Garden, so as you can guess, I
just had to inspect this updated garden and take a few photos and I intend returning for more photos.

Painted roses and other flowers & leaves 2011 to 2013
So many roses bloomed in our spring that I never got around to processing them all. I'm now
going back over all the saved images and choosing some interesting shots that I missed.
Quite a few are from images I've created to use as a jigsaw puzzle & some are quite recently taken.
An explosion of colour in our spring/summer garden - 2012
I starting taking 240 photos a day in the rose garden, each day there were more and more roses bursting forth. ONLY THE FIRST 30 BLOOMS FEATURE IN THIS SLIDESHOW
The arrival of Spring in the rose garden 2012
Some arty rose photos besides the plain shots.
Some are experiments with my 100-400mm lens to see how useful it could be in the rose garden, especially for roses out of my reach
This album is complete, more roses will follow in their natural state
The Rose Garden In Spring 2011
Roses & accompanying flowers during the months of November and early December

A walk in the autumn rose garden - 2010
After a very long hot and dry summer - no rain and strict water restrictions
its wonderful to feel the cooler air and even have some autumn rain. My
roses made a come back after just hanging in there during summer.
A Gallery of Spring ROSES from my garden in November & December 2009
Starting late October the roses are in their first flush of the season, not far from their peak. We've had lovely spring rains and the old roses are looking fabulous. More rose photos can be found in the above list and here http://www.helpmefind.com/plant/l.php?l=99.3367&tab=10&lstLstgID=4267
Out in the garden with me in early SPRING 2009
Spring seems to be arriving very early this year - like a whole month early!
Autumn Roses in my garden 2009
Autumn, from March until early June, the roses are maybe smaller and often with less petals, but the even temperature in our autumn is a delight in the rose garden. Often the colours are quite different to the spring/summer roses.
Spring in my ROSE garden in 2008
......I have over 500 roses in my rose garden, and that's 350+ varieties of all types.
......Late October and all of November and part of December the rose garden is in full swing!
......During late October and most of November I'll be adding a half dozen to a dozen photos
......of roses per day.
EACH ROSE PHOTO HAS THE NAME PRINTED ON THE PICTURE, but hasn't necessarily got the name in the title.
......See this book gallery which also features my rose photos
When the Kookaburra sings in early Spring..
But don't expect photos of kookaburras - I haven't got the right lens to capture them. What you'll find here is photos mainly taken from my morning walk around the garden in early spring - and a few further afield. This is my September Gallery.
~ Spring in Australia 2007 - 1 ~
Down under in Australia October is really the start of the spring proper, everything just takes off and flowers are everywhere. A bad month for the hay fever sufferers...
This gallery is now complete - see Spring in Australia 2 & Summer Days in Australia 2007
for a continued display of Spring/Summer garden flowers.
