~ 5 ~

K1 by Geoff Hardy, Southern Vales, South Australia

This is where we spent most of today celebrating "Father's Day" at a winery.
First we were taken on a walking tour around the vineyard, showing us the different
grapes, then stopping off 3 times to sample wine from each part of the vineyard
and finishing up with pre lunch nibbles and finally a barbecue. A very pleasant
day. We were very lucky to have finished
the walking tour before it started raining again, and it rained continuously
from that moment on! It was raining when I took this photo from under cover on
the winery balcony. We then moved onto a chocolate making cafe and finished the day with a
coffee or hot chocolate and a cake or scone.

what a wonderful day out and beautiful photo. I am sure this view will look even better in a few months when the foliage returns! That pond looks VERY full doesn't it!

Lovely image Yvonne, and great way to spend Fathers day .I am in Melbourne so I guess we will have more rain . it has been so wet.
Alan K05-Sep-2010 08:23
I like the angled "sweep" of the tree-lined road in this one.
I've heard it's been uncommonly wet around the SA/Vic belt this year.Still, a hot chocolate and scone in scenery like this is the best way to utilise that...
