Ouch! Double trouble

Speedy wheels that had an argument with a gatepost! The tiny scrape on the door meant it had to be fixed too. Very expensive, and the job was completed yesterday. The image on the left was taken two weeks ago, the one on the right this morning. I had a lot of fun trying to get the white balance sorted between the two.

To see images of other wheels check this week's Thursday challenge here

I did the same thing a few months ago coming out of our driveway
a bit too fast. Clipped the house!

Good comparison. I have a vehicle being repaired as well. But that's because of insidious rust!

Back to normal. My wife's "wheels" have been in the shop for over two weeks after a run in with a big deer...
mathilda williams07-May-2009 15:00
Ouch indeed! I like the fixed wheel best :)
Maaike Huizer07-May-2009 14:32
My car has a lot of scratches like that too. For now I see no need to let it fix, because in no time there will be other scratches. :)
You did well with the white balance. great idea too.
Evaristo Buendia Carrera07-May-2009 14:31
Here, the wheel looks safe. Good.
