This is where we live

Summer colours, and a nearly empty dam. We haven't had proper rains for many a month now, and this time of year is a very dangerous time for bushfires, everything is
tinder dry and a spark can ignite and burst into a huge hot and fast moving fire that burns everything in its path, especially if it is accompanied by hot dry and gale-force winds.

We are in a three year drought here, even though I live in the hurricane region. Lots of brush fire starting up here too.

We've all seen the destruction of wild fires (tv, media, etc) Horrible! Hoping you'll get some rain soon!

A very god Photo Yvonne from your surroundings. The Gum trees are so beautiful. Love the sight of them. Be careful, the World, but especially the Australians can't use another devastating bush fire. It was all one big drama which still goes on for many families for many years. The shot is awesome. V
