Blue lobelia

Sharing a hanging basket with a Veronica (the leaves belong to the veronica)
[sorry to mislead - the photo is archival, but processed today. These died the
first time we had a day of 40+C heat]

and here's a picture of a wild iris
which is flowering right now.
