There is such a wonderful feel to this image. If not for the modern rod and reel, this could be a photo in the North Sea in the 1800's.

Fantastic image of this scene and the fisherman. Very well shot. I have never felt fishing was very suspenseful, just relaxing and fun. Perhaps a cane pole, in a float tube, on the ocean fishing for sharks would indeed heighten the suspense. :)

Wonderful sporting shot...(mystery is how 2 people got fishy shots back to back in the forum).... Wonder what he catches and why he fishes in the cold! Great capture of the waves and person.

I have always wondered how people could fish in the surf. especially with such large waves and how the fish locate the bait is beyond me. Nice image. and something to think about.
