My "real job" is as a psychiatric case worker for a small, rural county mental health program. We received a Federal Block Grant to break ground on a new facility that will house both short term crisis beds and a longer term regional treatment facility. Eventually, there will be a campus here to also house Mental Health, Public Health and Services for the Developmentally Delayed. This will be a huge improvement for our folks. They are now housed in an old convalescent home that we remodeled several years ago, but the building is showing it's age. The state sent representatives as well as our County Commissioner John Elliot, the Contractor and our Director, Ann Lynn.
