I've had this metronome since I was a teenager and I have spent hours practising with it. My clever father also made me an electronic metronome which was a project from Home Electronics magazine, and he assembled it in one of those screw top travelling sweet tins ! I was terribly proud of it as I was the only person I knew who owned an electronic metronome. Not even my music teacher had an electronic one. My current metronome is even cleverer though - it beats umpteen variations of simple and compound time and isn't much bigger than a credit card.
