Swept Away
Achromatic August
August 1

Nashville, TN

As the day was fading and the pool was closing, the
sky filled with the most amazing clouds and light. I
liked the simplicity of this composition over the other.

For others joining in the month of B&W go HERE.

If you are interested in the conversion, I used the
Channel Mixer Adjustment Layer with the Monochrome
box checked with settings of R:+75, G:+75 & B:-50. A
little extra tweaking with Levels Adjustment Layer.

"Swept Away" is such an apt title for this as it is exactly what I was feeling when I viewed it but before I saw what you called it. Very dramatic.
