I saw this modern gate from the street while driving by and just had to have a picture of it, so managed to shoot this through a wire gate at the entry. I have no idea what the facility was, but it did seem to have some interesting architecture (a few more pictures to come).

We are going to Jeddah for a long weekend, and I have no idea what my Internet situation will be, so I may be away from Pbase for a few days. On the other hand, as transportation is somewhat complicated there (long story), we may be stuck at the hotel a lot of the time so I might be online all the time! Domestic tourism is pretty much unheard of here, so it should prove to be an adventure in any case. Hope I can get some good pictures of Saudi Arabia’s most cosmopolitan city and commercial capital, situated on the Red Sea.
