Mill Pond Sunset 3 ~ November 25

New London, Minnesota

Sinclair Lewis (Pulitzer Prize winner and first American to win the Nobel Prize for literature) said of New London, "It's a little bit of New England." (Sinclair Lewis grew up in nearby Sauk Centre.)

Sorry about yet another Mill Pond Sunset Photo, but this evening's sunset was even more spectacular than yesterday's. Plus time was short today and I didn't have time for anything else...

The sharpness and clarity hit me first, after the light of the sunset. The reflection is perfect. The church steeple in the trees is a plus detail. Excellent exposure. Nice balance in composition. You are right this is good work.

I like the way these two sunset shots complement one another . . . it's almost as if they belong side by side. Can't balme you for shooting Mill Pond over and over again. If I were there my whole PBase gallery would be nothing BUT the pond!
