Four images taken in sequence and previously posted individually in 2006 when I joined Pbase. The images were taken in 2005 not long after I got my first DSLR, the Nikon D70. I've reworked the images a bit with Nikon's NX2 which I only recently installed. It was these images that prompted me to more closely observe and to include "Behaviour" sequences in my postings.

These images where taken next to the Bow River, at a location where there were five or six Mountain Ash trees, all full of berries, yet I found about a dozen Robins gorging themselves on the berries of only one of the trees whilst there were no Robins in any of the other trees. Perhaps the berries of this one tree were just ripe for picking/eating?

Note: The Robin in the end ate all six berries that remained when I first arrived. It then went on to start on an other bunch.
